Step into this week’s message from our Redeeming the Body series as Pastor Karen D. Taylor teaches on “Redeeming the Body from Trouble.” Centered in Psalm 107:1-2, this word reminds us that trouble can show up in different ways, but God remains faithful to redeem, restore, and respond when His people cry out to Him.
In this message, we walk through four expressions of trouble revealed in Psalm 107: helplessness, rebellion, ignorance, and ambition. Through each one, we see a clear pattern: people are in trouble, they cry out to the Lord, the Lord responds, and the redeemed are given a responsibility. God settles and satisfies, releases and lights the path forward, heals and heightens awareness, and gives peace and pace for the journey ahead.
This sermon is also a call to recognition and response. The redeemed are not only delivered, they are called to say so. Through testimony, praise, and grateful obedience, we publicly honor the steadfast love of God who brings us out of trouble and keeps us in His care.
At The Garden Life Church, we are committed to helping people Meet God, Be Planted, Grow Strong, and Bear Fruit. As a Christ-centered community, we believe God’s Word is accurate, applicable, and able to transform our everyday lives.
Be encouraged as you listen, reflect, and consider the steadfast love of the Lord.
