Disappointment has a way of making us feel unseen, confused, and stuck in what we hoped would be different. But in Luke 24, we see something beautiful: even on the road of disappointment, Jesus comes near. This week’s sermon reminds us that God is still present in the places where our expectations have fallen apart, and He is faithful to reveal Himself there.
As we walked through the story of the road to Emmaus, we were reminded that our perspective is limited, but Jesus is not. He opens Scripture, restores hope, and makes Himself known. If you’ve been carrying disappointment, this message is an invitation to keep walking with Jesus and trust that He is closer than you think.
